Unfortunately, no. Students from grades 4 to 9 must participate through their schools in the National Astronomy Challenge (NAC). Schools are required to facilitate participation.
Schools usually manage their students' participation in NAC. However, you can provide your school with information about NAC or write to us with your school details at hello@nationalastronomy.org, and we will reach out to them.
Students from grades 4 to 9 are eligible to participate in NAC. It is open to students across India and overseas who have an interest in astronomy and space sciences.
NAC consists of MCQ-based questions focused on astronomy and space-related topics. The NAC will be conducted online on Saturdays, allowing students to participate from the comfort of their homes.
Encourage your child to study astronomy topics, explore space-related concepts, and practice problem-solving in the context of space sciences. Additionally, our team of astronomers and academicians have prepared immersive, multimedia-driven, grade-appropriate study materials, which can be accessed through Cosmic Kids Club (hyperlink CKC).
The registration fee for Indian students is INR 250 + GST, whereas students from overseas are required to pay a registration fee of USD 8.
Absolutely! If you have any additional questions or specific inquiries about NAC, feel free to write to us at hello@nationalastronomy.org, and we will be happy to assist you further.
